Ramadan Kareem

Take a look out of the window

Moon

The moon has always played a significant part in Islamic religion and Arab history.

In the Islamic lunar calendar, the sighting of the crescent moon (Hilal) marks the beginning of a new month. In pre-Islamic times Arabs used it for navigation during their trade journeys. Later, the Ottomans adopted the crescent and star as their symbol, further cementing this association.

The holy month of Ramadan starts today, Muslims all over the world take the chance to get close to Allah, slow down this fast-paced life and celebrate with their families.

I wanted to make the theme today about Arabs, If Pokémon had an “Arabian/Middle Eastern Nights” edition, which ones would fit right in — like how Delibird is basically the Santa Claus of the Poké-world? 🌙✨

Hey San-, i mean Delibird

Middle eastern Pokémon?

The Middle East is a vast region with many civilizations, each with its own rich history and traditions, so pinning one would be a challenge.

Egypt is the most represented as Cofagrigus, Sigilyph , Lucario and Pharaoh-trim Furfrou are a tribute to ancient egypt, however these are not oriented towards it current ‘arab’ identity.

Pharaoh-like Pokemon

Alternatively, Pokémon GO has a Middle East region exclusive Pokémon who is Tropius but I honestly don’t see any resemblance 😀

Looking into more ‘fun-nights’, Hoopa easily steals the spotlight with its mystical charm, a playful nod to the exotic allure of belly dancers.

Arbook also could easily pass in an Alaadin movie.

Lastly, based on the whole intro that i did, Maybe Lunatone would be the winner?

What do you all think? What is the most arabian looking?
